How to calculate GST

To calculate GST, enter the amount and select the applicable GST rate. The calculator will display the GST amount and the total amount.

GST Amount:

$$\text{GST Amount} = \text{Original Price} \times \frac{\text{GST Rate}}{100}$$

To find the final price including GST, you can use:

Final Price:

$$\text{Final Price} = \text{Original Price} + \text{GST Amount}$$

Or, combining both steps into one formula:

Combined Formula:

$$\text{Final Price} = \text{Original Price} \times \left(1 + \frac{\text{GST Rate}}{100}\right)$$

Example:

Let's say the original price of an item is ₹200 and the GST rate is 10%.

1. Calculate the GST Amount:

$$\text{GST Amount} = 200 \times \frac{10}{100} = 200 \times 0.10 = 20$$

2. Calculate the Final Price including GST:

$$\text{Final Price} = 200 + 20 = 220$$

Or, using the combined formula:

$$\text{Final Price} = 200 \times \left(1 + \frac{10}{100}\right) = 200 \times 1.10 = 220$$

So, the final price including GST is ₹220.
